Rest in Peace der Svensto, you certenly have enriced the life to a lot of people. Love to all relative and friends from Else Marie in Denmark. I have been a reader from the first day when Shreve mentioned that she had sat up a blog for her Grandmother. Such a lot of wonderfull stories.

What a tremendous loss. I have loved hearing her stories for many years. She lived an amazing life, and I was always astonished by the little tidbits she dropped in like they were nothing when they were so fascinating. Truly a life fully lived. Many condolences to the family.

Dear Gertrud,
You were a powerful spirit in human form and I just know that you are a powerful angel now. Thank you so much for that marvelous time . . . when your darling daughter Martha Alderson, Luisa Adams and I got to witness how you lived and practiced your art in Port Angeles. The first time I had touched mosaic art was in your studio. What stunning work you produced! Powerful Angel, may light, joy and heart always be with you. May "See you later" always mean "I'll be here for you."
With respect and love,
Teresa LeYung-Ryan

My Dearest,
What a beautiful and talented woman, I felt so warmed by your humor and ready engagement in conversation! When Teresa and I spent time with you and Martha we truly felt our circle was complete! You were fun, funny, strong, and so very gifted. Thank you for sharing your Goddess self with us, Your will be missed and always remembered with love.
Sincerely,
Luisa Adams

I haven't stopped by in a while and now this... I am processing this news with a heavy heavy heart.

She will be missed so much by so many. As I sit here, trying to think of sympathies to share, this line keeps rattling around in my brain:

...Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

adjö, Svensto, adjo

~ your friend, that you have never met, but who feels like she accompanied you through all of your life journeys that you shared with us, here.

I have watched so many of Martha's youtubes and this has helped me with my writing so much. When I saw that her other had died I clicked through to here. What a wonderful lady! My mother died 18 months ago and I know how the loss feels.

I send my thoughts to you Martha even though i don't know you except through your wonderful informative videos.
Bless you, your Mum and your family
Linda
